What is Picosecond laser?

The picosecond laser is a medical cosmetic technology that removes unwanted tattoo, rejuvenate the skin, and remove pigment like freckles and sunspot.

Can a picosecond laser remove all types of spots?
Picosecond laser are more effective for treating dark spots cause by melanocytes, such as freckles, and chloasma. Picosecond laser can not remove red spots or spider veins.

Is the lighter the pigment, the more effective the picosecond are?
In a short period of time picosecond can release more energy, and the capture of melanin is more precise and faster, so the effect on some shallow pigment spot is better.

During the treatment, there will be a feeling of hot and tingling, especially where there is more pigmentation. However, the treatment is fast, and the pain is tolerable.

Can anyone do picosecond laser?

The same with other laser devices, picosecond lasers are relatively contraindicated in patients with darker skin tones i.e., Fitzpatrick skin types 4-6, who are more susceptible to side effects.

Are there any side effects, and what should I do after picosecond laser?

Some lesion may have scarring, this usually falls off after 7-10 days do not pick the scars, let it fall off naturally.do not wash your face within 24 hrs. use medical grade products, and medical grade repair mask such as laser aid.
